The experience of our principals dates back to
1968 when Phillip Banks became one of the
youngest trust officers at a major bank trust
department at the age of 22. His banking
career spanned 13 years, including supervising
a trust office handling 850 trust accounts with
assets exceeding $500,000,000.

In 1980, Phillip and his wife Janet formed Banks
& Banks Fiduciary Services to deliver trust
administration services with a higher level of
personal attention, responsiveness and efficiency to clients than could be provided in a large corporate
trust environment. This dedication to superior
client service has led our company to be one of
the most successful and respected fiduciary
firms in San Diego, and particularly well
received by the legal and financial community.

Phillip and Janet’s son Lincoln H. Banks, CPA,
CFP^®, joined the firm in 2000 bringing
accounting and management experience to the
business. His new ideas add to the valued
traditions and expertise of the family business
that he grew up with and now leads for another
generation..
