Lincoln Banks has been a private professional fiduciary serving San Diego County for 20 years. He administers sophisticated estate plans and manages trust portfolios consisting of commercial and residential real estate, business interests, securities, and other financial and personal assets. He possesses the skill and experience to successfully navigate the challenges that confront fiduciaries, from complex tax issues, to family controversies, to sensitive business transactions.
Lincoln received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. After returning to San Diego in 2000 to join Banks & Banks, Lincoln achieved his Master of Science degree from San Diego State University, as well as earning Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner designations. He was one of the first in California to receive the California Licensed Professional Fiduciary designation.
Jody brings her extensive academic background and previous work experience at CPA and financial planning firms to assist with the administration of trusts and estates at Banks & Banks. She is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Business Economics degree, and earned a Master of Science in Financial and Tax Planning from San Diego State University. She has held a Certified Financial Planner designation since 2005.
Phillip Banks, Lincoln’s father, is the co-founder of Banks & Banks Fiduciary Services, along with his wife, Janet. While now retired from the day to day operations of the firm, Phillip and Janet continue to contribute their vast experience to Banks & Banks as consultants. Phillip held the credentials of Certified Trust & Financial Advisor, Certified Financial Planner, and California Licensed Professional Fiduciary, prior to retirement, and he is past president of the Estate Planning Council of San Diego.
Tegan is the full-time office manager and assistant at the firm, contributing her organizational skills, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
