WHAT WE DO

We are nominated and appointed in the following capacities:

• To serve currently as Trustee of revocable trusts; to assist a living trustor with asset management and supervision, bill pay, care coordination, and overseeing financial well-being.
• To serve as Trustee of irrevocable trusts, charitable trusts and private foundations; named as Successor Trustee for future appointment following an event or death.
• To serve as Executor under a Will or Administrator of a Decedent Estate; nominated in a Will for future appointment following a death.  We are also appointed by the court to fill a vacancy in the office of a personal representative.
• To serve as an agent under a durable power of attorney for financial matters to oversee non-trust assets.

When serving in a fiduciary capacity, we carry out our duties with integrity, accountability, and trustworthiness.  We provide a full range of trust and estate administration services including the management of securities portfolios and business interests, as well as the purchase, lease, management and sale of commercial and residential real property.  We have been selected to handle some of the most complex fiduciary matters and delicate family dynamics.  We excel in the ability to locate and marshal assets and thoroughly account for all financial transactions.  We possess the skill and experience to navigate challenging tax matters and oversee sensitive business transactions.

Accounting and reporting of financial transactions is an important aspect to serving in a fiduciary capacity because of the high level of responsibility involved with the position.  We have developed a one-of-a-kind fiduciary accounting software system tailored specifically to the clients’ needs and well received by the court for delivering data in a clear format, compliant with Probate Code reporting requirements. These customized accounting reports are not only detailed and accurate but also easy to read and understand.
